AquaVita is a huge aquatic centre that’s open all year round and offers children and adults the opportunity to have fun and relax in the water. This centre, dedicated to wellbeing, is the perfect place to recharge your batteries during your stay in Anjou.
Within the AquaVita complex, you can swim in a 50 m outdoor pool maintained at 28 °C throughout the year. This means that regardless of which season you choose for your holiday in the Loire Valley, you can still swim a few lengths at AquaVita with or without flippers. An airlock that connects the indoor pools to the outdoor pool means you don’t have to get out of the water. A great idea, particularly when it’s really cold.
When the weather is fine, the other outdoor spaces are also accessible and include beaches and lagoons as well as lawns where you can enjoy the sun. Inside, children can enjoy the paddling pool and play area. Fun, cultural and sports events are held regularly at AquaVita, including in the evenings. Parents can bring their babies along for special discovery sessions. These courses are accessible to children from the age of four months.
At AquaVita, the joy of the water isn’t limited to swimming and relaxing. The space also offers various facilities that are sure to give you a buzz. The Torrent is a 150 m water slide with a particularly fast current. The Toboggan will enable you to hurtle down nearly 90 m before you land in the pool, and the Pentaglis is a 30 m high ramp where you can compete with your friends or family. Just 24 km from Château des Briottières you will find a great place where you can have fun with your friends and family.
SpaVita is an integral part of AquaVita and is a 900 m² space in which you can benefit from treatments to help you get into shape and relieve muscle tension. In addition to the hammams, saunas and hot tubs there is body-building and cardio-training equipment. Lastly, AquaVita has a balneotherapy pool equipped with several bubble massage beds, swan neck fountain, massage jets and a geyser. Moving water removes tension easily and will revitalise you after long walks around the countryside and cultural sites of Anjou.
